Name: Ade.
Age: as far as I know, adolescent.
Gender: male.
Alliance: the dark side .. also known as the Outsiders.
Appearance: Ade is not a very muscular lion; in fact, most would consider him quite scrawny. His shoulders are broad, however, and the muscle tone traveling beneath under his thin coat is moderately developed. Perhaps what makes him so thin-looking is the fact his belly is concave; the slope from his chest to his hind legs is considerably tucked in. His large ears sprouting dutifully from the mane that is starting to grow in thicker around his face and chest makes it all the more emphasized.
Ade's face is lean, but his eyes are quite large and very expressive; the irises gleam a brilliant emerald, contrasting to his dark pelt and mane very handsomely. A thickening ruff of fur between his ears, falling into his eyes charmingly, sprouting on his chest, and fluffing up between his shoulder blades is a startlingly dark, rich jet-black. His developing mane glows like polished onyx against his lean tawny-gold body.
Personality: Although his mother is a wicked, ambitious soul out for vengeance and power, Ade is merely a follower of his demented dam. His alignment, although classified as the Outsider's side, can not be determined simply by this. He is not "evil" or even "cruel", but indeed he would not leave his mother's.
Yes, many call Ade a "momma's boy", but the fact of the matter is, much in the matter of Nuka to Zira, this young lion would never leave Awiti. He believes that, behind all of her dark intentions, there lies a good heart, a kind soul, and pure spirit. He holds no resentments towards the lions of Pride Rock, but if his mother commanded him to be against them, than so be it.
History: In what seems like eternities ago, Awiti birthed a cub she believed would help her gain the vengeance Scar had failed to do and Zira was slowly losing faith in herself. This cub, of course, was Ade, the golden-pelted lion with black markings where his mane would grow in one day.
Although Awiti was Zira's second-in-command, her son did not get special treatment within the Outlanders' pride, Ade did enjoy watching the royal family's plan unfold. He didn't understand, as a cub, why Zira was so bent on destroying Simba and his pride, but as he witnessed the child of Simba and the child of Zira coquettishly play their game of pride balance, he grew some knoweledge of evil, some knoweledge of goodness, and some knoweledge of the darkness in his own mother's heart.
And he realized, most of all, that rage in the lands around him would never cease. He knew in his heart that the tolerance and patience in his purity would be put to the ultimate trial .. for somehow, he felt that there would be no turning back once his mother took those first few steps towards evil.
